TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTION 2020

Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 – Section 14(2)

 In accordance with the provisions of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, the Norfolk County Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to Anglian Water repairs to a burst water main the use by vehicles of the Chapel Road from a point 40m west of its junction with the Stoke Road for a further 20m west in the PARISH OF BOUGHTON will be temporarily prohibited from 30th November 2020 to 4th December 2020 for the duration of the works, expected to be about 5 days within the period. If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 21 days.

Alternative route is via: Chapel Road, The Green, Mill Hill Road, Gibbet Lane, Lynn Road, Stoke Road, Stoke Ferry Bypass (A134), Boughton Road (Wereham/ Stoke Ferry/ West Dereham/ Boughton).

(If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order)

Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
